8th and 9th graders

The will to win is nothing without the will to prepare.

How it works

Ala carte:

The 8th-9th grade consulting is available as individually purchased sessions. Sessions focus on one student in the family and include homework for the student and family.

In addition to the formal meetings and reviews, you will also have access to Dr. Eckles for quick questions as needed at no additional cost.

Families who purchase all 8th-9th grade sessions receive a 25% discount on all future sessions for that student.

Families with twins receive a 50% discount on the second student’s sessions.

Session descriptions:

Admissions and Aid Process Overview

$200
Receive a comprehensive overview of the process for both admission and financial aid for higher education in the U.S. This overview includes descriptions of the types of post-secondary education available, the types of institutions, what the requirements and timeline are for admission, what kinds of financial assistance are available, and who is eligible for what.
Family Goal Setting

$200
We will have a facilitated family goal setting session that includes the student and the parents, as well as other family members at the parents’ option. The purpose of this session is both to get everyone in the family on the same page and to set expectations before high school begins.
High School Planning

$500
Far and away the most valuable investment you will make in your child’s future is a high school planning session before high school begins. The resulting plan will include – for all four years of high school – course selections, extra curricular activities, service activities, employment, and spiritual development activities. It will also identify potential opportunities for leadership as well as potential “major experiences” for the student such as international travel, governor’s school, mission trips, etc.
Family Financial Planning

$500
The next most valuable investment you will make in your child’s future is financial. To the degree of detail you are comfortable, we will discuss your family’s current and expected future financial situation, discuss ways to save and investment vehicles, understand what might be expected of your family for financial support in college, and understand what kind of financial assistance might be available to pay for college and from what sources.
